SPECTRE adalah film yang tak bisa dibilang buruk dalam konteks pembuatan, mencoba memuaskan fans lama (era Sean Connery atau Roger Moore, mungkin) sekaligus fans baru era Daniel Craig, namun menjadi mengecewakan karena ikatan emosional dan sensasi ketegangan yang kurang dari film sebelumnya, Mekanisme narasinya sederhana. Produser dan penulis naskah ingin menyatukan semua cerita dari Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace serta Skyfall yang memasuki momen klimaks pada SPECTRE.
